- ５つのフロアレベルを持つスキップフロア住宅
- 札幌の中心から西へ車で20分程、国道から坂道を少し上ったところにこの家は建つ。 周辺には新旧の住宅が混在して建つ、自然もまだ少し残る比較的密度の低い住宅地のなかにある。 敷地は未造成のままの傾斜地で約2mの高低差があり、このおおよそ2／3階分に相当する高低差をズレや隙間として建築に取り込む事を考えた。 それはコストから自ずと「小さな家」となるこのプロジェクトにとっては大きな効果をもたらすことになる。
この家には5つのフロアレベルが設けられ、それらは2／3階（2m）あるいは1／3階（1m）ズレたスキップフロアを構成している。 そのズレはフロア間の分節や繋がり、視線の抜け、日差しの取り込みとして機能し、空間の広がりを獲得する。

This house is situated in the midway on a sloping road, at a 20 minutes driving distance from the city center of Sapporo. The site exists in a low-density residential district where natural environments still remain to some extent and new and old houses co-exist. The non-reclaimed land is drastically inclined with 2-meter gap,
which would be equivalent to 2/3 of the floor height. We decided to incorporate the level-difference into the architecture as gaps and in-between spaces. Due to the limited budget, the house is small. But this incorporation of level-difference is very effective in enriching the living environment.
